If we can make a wish here, heaven would be spring and sunshine.  

 

From northern Thailand’s belief, “Tung” is made to wish for an afterlife in heaven. The original Tung is made of cotton yarns and pieces of wood in a particular proportion. This wishing piece was inspired by my first cruel winter experience in Stockholm. Wool and linen are the main 

materials, which represent winter and spring. The piece is an experimentation on net alike weaving techniques that let precious winter light shine through.
